1 in 3 women suffers from pelvic floor problems. The debilitating symptoms can include urinary urgency, frequent urination, accidental leakage of urine or stool, and an inability to completely empty the bladder and/or bowel. While these problems can have a huge impact on a woman’s ability to go about her daily life, many women suffer with these problems for years before seeking help. The good news is that while these problems are common they need not put your life on hold. There are effective treatments on hand, many of which can take place in the office with minimal disruption to your life.

Urogynecologist, Dr. Peter Castillo, has recently joined Vital Health to provide diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients dealing with pelvic floor problems.

In this section you can learn more about some of the pelvic floor conditions we commonly treat here at the institute. If you have any specific questions concerning your own condition, please contact us or request a case review.

*In-depth articles covering the pelvic floor disorders will be coming soon.
